Lesson planning is the heart of Teachturtle. With just a few inputs, the AI creates a complete, pedagogically sound lesson plan.

How AI Lesson Planning Works

1. Enter Your Topic

Describe your lesson topic as specifically as possible:

  • ✅ Good: "Introduction to written addition with regrouping, Grade 2"
  • ❌ Too general: "Math"

The more context you provide, the better the result.

2. Select Learning Objectives

The AI suggests appropriate learning objectives based on:

  • Curriculum requirements for your region
  • Grade level and developmental stage
  • Competency areas of the subject

You can customize, add, or remove learning objectives.

3. Generate Lesson Plan

After clicking "Generate", the AI creates:

Lesson Phases:

  • Introduction (approx. 5-10 min): Motivation, activating prior knowledge
  • Development (approx. 20-25 min): Teaching new content
  • Practice (approx. 10-15 min): Applying and consolidating
